Tonight I saw fellow “Adaumbelle’s Quest” participant Jeffrey Solomon’s new one man show “Santa Claus Is Coming Out.” This hilarious multi-talented performer knows how to take a person that is revered by many, but known to everyone and a topic personal to many, but not accepted by everyone and brings them together in a light and funny yet thought provoking and timely manner. Jumping from one character to another, Jeffrey takes the audience on a ride showing the various reactions to the coming out of Santa Claus: From children who just want to be accepted for who they are to parents who don’t understand their child’s difference to Santa’s press rep trying stay one step ahead of everyone. With puppets, accents, & enough costumes to rival a Cher concert, Jeffrey Solomon keeps the audience wanting more. So if you’re looking for a way to celebrate the love inside you, take yourself to “Santa Claus Is Coming Out” until December 20 at the Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).

It is downright fun … with some poignancy about what it’s like to grow up gay! Jeffrey Solomon is fantastic! I got my tickets using the code “HOHO” for $32.50 tickets (regularly $45). GO SEE SANTA CLAUS IS COMING OUT!
