Paul Downs Colaizzo’s “A Dog’s Tale (or The Thing About Getting)

Fellow “Adaumbelle’s Quest” participant Paul Downs Colaizzo’s new drama “A Dog’s Tale (or The Thing About Getting) will get a reading this Monday, September 6 at 7:30pm at the Kennedy Center’s Page-to-Stage Festvial in Washington, DC. The reading will star Patrick Heusinger, Phoebe Strole, Wesley Taylor, Eric Clem, and Daiva Deupree. Brittany O’Neill will direct.

According to press notes, “A Dog’s Tale (or The Thing About Getting)” is a gripping tale of a young professional at a critical moment in his life, explores the overwhelming human drive for success and the disaster of achieving it.”

Through sharp-witted dialogue and a series of flashbacks, five characters are forced to face their retaltionship with the ever-impending tomorrow.”
