1. Who inspired you to become a performer? I’m not sure what specifically inspired me to become a performer, I’ve just always known, from a very young age, that is what I wanted to do.

2. What is the highest and lowest note you can sing? I would have to go vocalize to tell you the answer 🙂 – I am a firm believer that if you need to reach a note in order to relay the truth and story of the song, you will do so.  I never look at notes – I just sing.

3. Who is the one person you haven’t worked with that you would like to? k.d. lang – i think she has the most stunning voice and I love her artistry.  it would be a dream come true to sing a duet with her.

4. What is your proudest moment? In 2005, when we were releasing my duets CD, “In Good Company” which featured 17 newly recorded duets with many notable aritsts (Michael Feinstein, Maureen McGovern, Stephen Schwartz, Ann Hampton Callaway, Amanda McBroom etc.) we re-created the album for a LIVE concert at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre. It was a glorious musical event.

5. Do you have any strange or unusual talent that no one knows about? Well….I do play the Fluke…

6. Favorite play/musical? That is a tough question.  For current musicals I would have to say I really enjoyed “In The Heights” but I also love the old classics like “The King & I.”

7. Favorite way to stay in shape? Lately, I’ve been doing a workout called TRX which I really love. I have a trainer here at home, but I can actually travel with the device and do the workout right in my hotel room which is great! I also love to hike.

8. Boxers or Briefs? Boxers to sleep, briefs during the day 🙂

9. Favorite website? LeeLessack.com of course!

10. Superman or Wonder Woman? Superman.

11. Favorite drink? Red Wine or a Dirty Martini.

12. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Stay focused on your goal and intention and don’t worry so much about the method or path it takes to get there. You may just be surprised that the path takes some unexpected turns and if you stay focused on your goal you’ll be more open and aware of the routes offered.
