1. Who inspired you to become a performer? Performer? I don’t think of myself as a performer, now legend that I’ll take.

2. What was your first professional performance? (tapping microphone of his dictaphone) Hello, Dyllun, is this fachachta thing on? They think I’m a performer.

3. Who is the one person you haven’t worked with that you would like to? Liz McCann says David Merrick would love me.

4. What is your best and worst experience in a show? Best — when you first hear that overture! Worst — when they play the last note of “Bows and exit”.

5. What is your favorite kind of sundae (ice cream flavor and topping)? I like the Xanadu sundae at Serendipity. I savor it and try to imagine what town they’re in on their national tour. Chicago I think.

6. Animal Crackers or Oreos? Celery — oy the carbs.

7. Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts? What do you order? Angus.

8. Favorite TV Show? Every year there’s a new series with Kristin Chenowith — I like that one.

9. Favorite Holiday? That Sunday in June when they do the Tony Awards. Gather the kiddies around the TV set, light candles, make cocoa, watch Jeffrey Seller and Kevin McCollum open their presents.

10. Favorite ride at an amusement park? Twyla Tharp.
